Autumn 2017 is here, and at Storm we are now sorting through the new projects for the coming season, nourished by a long summer recess. An abundance of summer reading, particularly across two genres – the history of consciousness research and modern fiction in translation – has inspired us tremendously!
Two riveting new counterculture memoirs (or the bones of such) have come our way – more on both as they progress. Our motion picture wing also have a busy season ahead (and more on that imminently too). Helen and Kris have now got their online long read essay journal going at http://www.nomorebigwheels.com and Helen’s book, Shadows Across the Moon (which she presented via a tailored lecture at this year’s Breaking Convention, and for which she was interviewed by Vogue Italia), now available in paperback in English via Jawbone Press got a much appreciated 4 star review in this month’s MOJO magazine.
Meanwhile we should have cover visuals for this season’s new foreign translations signed by the agency coming up very soon.
Here’s the wonderful James Murphy. Best wishes from all at Storm for a relaxing weekend.
